Covers the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Safety & Health Requirements. Valid for 1 year, followed by an 8-hour refresher annually. Learn to serve as an SSHO, prepare site-specific APPs, complete AHAs, ensure hazard communication, select PPE, manage site safety, and comply with EM 385-1-1 standards. Covers fall protection, excavation safety, tool use, and more. Not offered online; prerequisites required. Call to enroll.
Minimum class size is 8 students. If the minimum class student number is not met by the class date, it will be rescheduled for the following month and all students currently registered will be moved to the new class date until the class reaches the minimum of 8. We will make the determination a week prior to the original class date that we are rescheduling the class. We will notify students that week of the new class date to make sure you are still going to attend the class.
